The origin
Behind Ô P'tit Garonnais there is a child from Lorraine who quickly settled in Paris, where I grew up, studied and took my first steps in the restaurant trade. Then, through a chance meeting with a Toulousaine who won me over as much for herself as for her region, I found myself in the South-West. Between the energy of Toulouse, its hyper-centre and the art of living of the South-West, a new story is being written today: that of Ô P'tit Garonnais.
- The beginning
The beginning
It all started in a traditional brasserie in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, where I was lucky enough to meet a boss who taught me far more than a trade. He showed me the behind-the-scenes of the restaurant business, the joy of dealing with customers and the richness of running a team and an establishment. I was fascinated by that world, its energy and that way of creating, every day, a true place to live.
- The apprenticeship
The apprenticeship
The apprenticeship meant hours and hours of repeating the same gestures, the same services, until they became natural. Because behind a refined, quality service there is a lot of rigour, patience and above all the desire to give of yourself, for yourself and for every customer. It is in this demanding, sometimes intense standard that I learned the real meaning of the trade.
- The spark
The spark
The turning point came after working in different roles, from the dining room to the bar, up to managing a team and an establishment. Handling orders, building rotas, hiring, keeping a restaurant running and watching every detail gradually made me want to go further: to do all of it for myself, on my own. Entrepreneurship in the restaurant trade has its demands, its risks and its sacrifices; it is a bet I have wanted to take for a long time. Today, I have decided to go for it.
- The place
The place
After searching for more than a year in the Toulouse area for the place that would bring my project to life, I was lucky, thanks to the estate agent who never let go of me, to discover this address in the heart of the legendary rue des Filatiers. Between Les Carmes market and Place de la Trinité, in a lively, warm neighbourhood loved by all, I immediately understood that this is where the story should begin. A place in the image of my concept: open to everyone, where you can come and share a few tapas or enjoy a beautiful, carefully crafted, generous plate, from a fresh salad to a hearty burger, from a refined starter to a traditional dessert. My ambition is simple: to make this address a true place to live, a place that brings together young people, families, lovers, workers, regulars and passing visitors. A place where you can have lunch with colleagues, share an afterwork with friends, dine with your other half or simply meet over a drink. Above all, a place able to host every occasion and every event, to make Ô P'tit Garonnais a lively, warm address open to all.
- Today
Today
Today, after years of learning, observing and growing in this trade, a new adventure finally begins. Ô P'tit Garonnais is the realisation of a long-matured desire: to create a restaurant in my own image, where cooking, sharing and conviviality are at the heart of every moment. A generous kitchen, a drinks menu designed for every craving — cocktails, wines, beers and spirits — and above all a place where you come to eat well, have a drink, share and enjoy yourself. More than a restaurant, I want to make it an address where you feel good and where you want to return.
The rest of the story is written with you. Come on in.
